Awarded to Anthony J. Baynes in 2006, the Italian-American of the Year Award recognizes the contributions of Italian-Americans to the Buffalo community. The Federation of Italian-American Societies of WNY was established in 1907 to promote the understanding and appreciation of Italian culture and the achievements of its members.
