Ride for Roswell 2015

Dan Snyder, of the Headquarters office, took part in the 2015 Ride for Roswell to help raise funds for Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Founded in 1898, Roswell Park is America’s first cancer center, dedicated to understanding, preventing and curing cancer. Funds raised at the event support cutting-edge research and patient care programs that benefit the 31,000 patients who turn to Roswell Park for hope.

Ride Weekend kicked off on Friday, June 27th with Celebration of Hope which included mindful workshops, a celebration village tailgate pre-party and an inspirational and emotional stage program featuring the Roswell Park Cancer Institute department procession, the arrival of the Extra Mile Club Peloton and a concert by country music star and cancer advocate Kellie Pickler.

On Saturday, June 28th, over 8,000 cyclists and 2,000 volunteers joined together to participate in the 20th annual Ride for Roswell despite cold, windy and rainy weather conditions. Dan Snyder, who completed a 34 mile country route, rode to celebrate the lives of those who have battled or are continuing to fight their battle with cancer and to honor cancer survivors and the many caregivers who have provided countless hours of care and support.
